The sun cream that lets your skin breathe and look natural
The Dui Sun Protection Cream has a consistency of a day cream and is cool to the touch. The skin feels light as it is allowed to breathe. This cream uses flavonoids in plant extracts to form a filter within the skin’s epidermis, to protect it against the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays.
The cream’s combination of herbs not only protects the skin from UV radiation, but also ozone radiation. This mix of herbal flavonoids minimises uneven pigment-formation on the skin as well as allows the skin to acquire a healthy, golden hue.
Besides its sun-protecting property, the cream is also suitable for anyone who wishes to treat and protect her skin against further pigmentation problems. It has been observed that people who do not suntan but burn under the sun can use this cream to help them get a tan without getting sunburnt.
Many Norwegians have used this product during their holidays, be it in the Middle East or Asia, over both summer as well as winter. They were always happy with the protection they received from the cream.
The Dui Sun Protection Cream is not waterproof and has to be reapplied after bathing, swimming or heavy sweating.
Some facts
Flavonoids are strong UV radiation-absorbing compounds that accumulate mainly in the epidermal cells of plants.
The localisation of flavonoids in the epidermal layers of plants, and their known ultraviolet-absorbing properties, has led to a suggestion that they can serve as shields against potentially harmful radiation. There is a growing body of evidence for the role of flavonoids in photo-protection.
At the Dui Institute of Research, we notice that the colour pigments of the plants stay in the epidermal layer of the skin and remain there for up to 48 hours. For as long as the flavonoids can stay in the skin’s epidermis, the cream, with the flavonoids, will be able to protect the skin from sunburn. However, we advise consumers to reapply under heavy sun tanning to make sure that they are getting the protection they require.
The cream can also be used as an after-sun product to cool the skin down.
| Instructions | Apply a suitable amount on the face and eye areas at least 30 minutes before exposure to the sun. Dui Day Cream or Firm Again Face Cream can be used before application for even better protection.
Reapply after swimming, taking a shower or heavy suntanning.
